"My approach is simple."

Provide you with a holistic understanding of your health, how each aspect is interrelated, and then help you paint your life on a bigger canvas.

Why Story Matters

From the dawn of time, humans have told stories to one another. To excite, enrage, inform, or simply to entertain.

Today, story may be more important than ever.

Television news tells us stories full of conflict and terror. Companies “brand” themselves and create a story about their past history and current customers. In person, on the phone, or electronically, we constantly share stories about our lives, hopes and dreams.

When it comes to health, finding our story may be one of our biggest challenges.

But one thing is certain. We were born to be vibrant, healthy and powerful. Our birthright is to exercise, eat well, and think positively — not to be a slave to television, prescription drugs and pessimism.

Getting healthy means uncovering the layers of unhealthy dust that cover us all.

Health Coaching Explained

Health Coaching is similar to Life Coaching, but focuses more precisely on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.

Why? Because your life – and your journey – is bigger than you could possibly imagine, and the story you tell yourself should match it. Whether you know it or not, you are in the midst of The Hero’s Journey.

Not only has the traditional medical model failed us, but the cultural messages that surround us often have one common refrain: You’re not good enough.

Today, you can begin to reframe your life and see all of your challenges and struggles as paths to wisdom.

For the past decade, I’ve focused on how our own personal health is affected by the larger healthcare system.  Both of these involve powerful stories – the story we tell ourselves, and the story of how healthcare in the United States became a profit-making venture with the advent of HMO’s.
